David heads the firm's Corporate Group and acts for a wide range of clients from start-ups to large PLCs. He advises on all aspects of AIM listings, acquisitions and disposals, corporate finance and joint venture agreements.

His commercial practice includes drafting a wide variety of commercial contracts and documentation relating to joint ventures. David has recently advised a TV broadcasting service provider, a music portal company and media website company on content supply agreements and has negotiated a long-term media equipment rental agreement for a major national sports stadium.

David's employment practice includes advising on the misuse of confidential information and the enforceability of restrictive covenants. He specialises in advising on senior level employment contracts and terminations and also drafts employment documentation including contracts and staff handbooks. He has conducted several cases in the employment tribunal in respect of discrimination, unfair dismissal and redundancy.

David joined Swan Turton as a partner in February 2008 from a Mayfair-based specialist corporate and commercial practice. David trained and qualified with a leading City law firm.
