Tom is a partner in the firm's Litigation, Photography and Visual Arts, Advertising & Marketing Groups. Tom specialises in media and entertainment law, commercial litigation (contracts, shareholder disputes and directors’ duties) and intellectual property with a particular expertise in trade marks and copyright. He provides advertising and branded content clearance and compliance support as well as regulatory advice regarding the OFT, the ASA and the MHRA. Tom acts for a broad range of corporate and individual clients including advertising agencies and production houses, agents and celebrities, artists and photographers, art galleries and dealerships, internet businesses and marketing and mail order undertakings. Tom has been involved in numerous trials and appearances in the High Court and has extensive mediation and arbitration experience. Tom is an active member of Adlaw International, a global network of specialist advertising lawyers. Tom started his career as an investment banker in the City and in Paris before training as a solicitor and qualifying with a leading West End media and entertainment practice.
